Aufgaben
  • you are responsible for the preparation of negotiations of strategic value, in particular goals, strategy, options, arguments as well as process &, if necessary, simulations (e.g. war gaming)

  • with your expertise, you accompany the entire negotiation process from situation analysis to post-mortem analysis of the successful negotiations

  • in the case of particularly difficult/complex negotiations, you will take ownership as lead negotiator

  • you coordinate with external parties supporting the negotiations

  • you are responsible for defining, advancing and training/advising the SMS organization regarding the negotiation method tool-kit of SMS to ensure structured and professional negotiation methods


Profil
  • you have an excellent master's/diploma degree; preferred disciplines business administration/macroeconomics, mathematics/computer science; a focus in the area of negotiations (e.g. game-/auction-theory) is desirable; an MBA or PhD is desirable

  • the degree can be compensated by relevant experience/further training

  • you have at least 10 years of professional experience in preparing and conducting negotiations for complex strategic and/or high-volume negotiations, ideally in a high-tech environment

  • using concrete examples you are able to demonstrate your broad negotiation experience (e.g. high-volume purchasing, partnerships and M&A)

  • you have achieved demonstrable successes in negotiations with various international partners

  • ideally, you have assumed (lateral) leadership of negotiation teams and assumed expert responsibility for the entire negotiation lifecycle

  • experience in training of courses regarding negotiating methods is desirable

  • personally, you are characterized by high cognitive, interpersonal and emotional intelligence

  • you have full professional proficiency at least in german and english

  • based on your in-depth professional experience, you have built up a strong network in the negotiation environment, e.g. specialized consulting companies or negotiation simulation providers
